Karel! Hey, Good to have ya aboard the hidey random tree thingy. The tree has far too much history for me to try to catch up, and random took off before I realized what was going on. This is the only place I feel I got in "on the ground floor". hope it continues, it can be fun. If I don't see you back here, I check the usual place. Cheers,

BTW: This thread is so making it into my really late Thanksgiving blog post about things I am thankful for. Cos this thread keeps me in stitches and always thinking. Ya'll have given me the hope that I am not a freak (well I am, but not in that eww, flee!! kind of way), and that we are all in the same boat. Love keeps a ship in the air, and I think we've got enough to get us to Boros.
Remember, we're all looking for the same thing, we all just got different ways of looking for it.
Everytime I get back to this thread I am reminded of Kaylee and her "I love meetin' new people, they all gots stories" (not a direct quote and I'm not gonna cheat with a transcript) cos we all gots stories on here.
I'm trying to bring the fun and the love back to this thread. If ya'll wanna fight, make your own thread entitled "the hidey place of angry boys" or "firefy fight club" or some crap, cos I hate it when people aren't having a nice time.
A big sorry to anyone I didn't give a 'shout-out' too (I have been warned I am too white to say shout out but I defy them!!)!

I have to agree here. This should be a place for fun. I think. I'm enjoying it. Is that wrong? If it's not fun for you, well, no one(I hope) is forcing you to read it. There are plenty of other threads to read. I'm not saying you shouldn't be allowed to post your disagreements, Freedom and all that, is what Firefly is all about after all. Just keep it civil if at all possible. If you feel you can't keep it civil, then you're emotional about it. Try waiting an hour then coming back to it.
Posting private messages = Not cool. It won't serve the purpose you think. I like these threads and respectfully request that we keep 'em clean, well civil maybe, maybe not so much with the clean.
Let the fun continue.

Yeah, when I say no fighting, I mean NOTHING PERSONAL. We've been play fighting around here for some time, and that's fun. But gettin' mean on someone, that's just not cool.
I've been having a blast on this thread. If someone isn't I hope no one is tying them to a chair and opening their eyes ala A Clockwork Orange and making them read this (and the orginal) thread, cos that'd be upsetting.

I generally go with Caveman too, cos they have clubs, and growl and drag girls around by their hair. Astronauts would be busy planning a strategy and then, BAM! clubbed in the head, and dragged away. Ahh good times.

I'm from a not so important planet going around an even more unremarkable star... Actually I'm from Wisconsin, yes this is the place where people wear cheese on their heads (I wear the cheese, it does not wear me, okay I wear no cheese). I live in Northcentral Wisconsin, which means, it's not hell, but you can see it from here, and hell? Yeah it's cold.

Apparently it's where lonely hearts are born (and I should know).
But now that I think about it, I know very few people actually from NC. Most of my friends moved here from up north or out west. Weird.

Maybe not quite, but we're definitely top three material ;D. Of course people can belong to more than one...(I never seem to have the time for the tree ;( ).
I'm thankful for this thread, too, among many other like things. I'm doing better than I have in a long, long time, and I attribute it to the people forcing me to actually see what I already knew needed to be done. Thanks to many of you, but thanks BEG, foremost.
I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I live in Western New York. I pretty much hate it here, but all my extended family lives in this area. I'd go back to live in Oklahoma in a heartbeat if that wasn't so. Oh well...
ps - finished the content management system for my blog today (word!), so it shouldn't be more than a week before I get it up (only work on it during spare time at work). After that I'll look at the whole firefly dating thing if anyone's really interested (I like practicing my php/mysql).
