Good news! I've been able to talk to the people at the Riverview theater in Minneapolis, and there's a chance they could show Serenity at a late-night showing next weekend.
I got an email from them today about it:
"How about a late-night showing next weekend. We could do a midnight screening Friday and/or Saturday.
Let us know if you think there’s interest."
I sent this to the yahoo group, but I'm posting it here just in case. So what would you guys think?

That would be so cool! Serenity doing a Rocky Horror impersonation would be fun. Riverview...good place for it too, if it can't find a permanent spot at my favorite, Riverplace next to Prachna with good beer and cobblestone streets to walk afterward.

well, I couldn't do that. I'm still a teenage browncoat (and I look younger).
But the Riverview is such a great theater! they had Serenity on their Coming Soon list, but took it off due to scheduling. But hopefully I can get this showing.
