Wow, he's busier than I realized.
I bought a comic book (his X-Men title) recently just because it had the Whedon name on it. I was all trembly and embarrassed about it, since I haven't bought a comic book in oh, about 20 years, since I stopped collecting them in college. Now I find there are more comic titles in the Whedonverse...sigh. I've been trying to get rid of my old comic collection for years now, and it looks like I may have to start reading comic books again. Just when I was getting used to reading books without pictures in them...

So, okay, maybe SOME of my expectations were a hair unrealistic, but I'm so proud of the movie and all my peeps, and we'll drag it into the black (or take it out to the black) soon enough.

I think that this post of Joss' this morning
(made partly because he is nervous about being on Veronica Mars tonight, I'm sure)
should convince fans that he does not consider the Firefly/Serenity verse dead
that he had not turned his back on the Buffyverse
and that we can look forward to lots of comic books with publishing delays in the coming year!
I love a Joss-post... he is so funny!
this is why I have to see 'Wonder Woman' when it (finally) comes out,
because he even makes posting to a message board an event,
so naturally his movies have all got to be really entertaining.
