I'd be happy to sign it, but the fact that who ever wrote it couldn't take the time to even spell check it, makes me think no real network would EVER take it seriously. If it were well written and grammatically correct, I might consider, but until then, I'll abstain.

Not that I'm purposely trying to keep this thread "bumped," but I just can't not respond to these sorts of threads anymore. (I never used to be so negative... really....)

For a fanbase that is supposedly so "intelligent," there is a disconcertingly large number of fans who shoot right past reality and go to the dillusional "Daddy, can I get a pony? We can keep it in the garage!" mindset.

There are many, many things to consider and resolve long before any decisions are made on who should air the show. Like, oh I dunno, the Rights? (Lawyers bad, tree pretty!) Or even whether or not Joss and the rest of the cast want to do it.

But, hey, why bother with logic when you have fanaticism to keep you going? Best o'luck.

If Joss has the rights to it, he could go to Paramount. After all Paramount was proud to have Star Trek in their goodie box

I dont really see how online petitions can work. People can just get their freinds,family, ect who dont care about it sign it. Also dont petitions like this come up all the time? So how will the execs find out about it, and furthermore care? Anyways, i still signed it and got everyone i know to also (haha cant hurt right?). So everyone lets do this for the hell of it and maybe make some noise! I WANT MORE FIREFLY... its just too good to end at 14 episodes and a movie. Really i will do whatever it takes for more.

actually I thought that online petitions are just a way for spammers to get names and e-mail addresses to sell to ...well...everyone

These petitions were useless three years ago,
and they are even of less use now....

but I guess it helps people burn off some steam.
