I know it's only wed. and the weekend matters but come on,what's wrong with America ;)! I know a lot of Browncoats are going Wed and Thurs in NYC,so hopefully that will help. This weekend people we gotta go as many times as we can.

I'm waiting to see it again this weekend. Everyone I know who's going is going this weekend. I think what we're looking at here is what would've happened to Serenity were it not for the Browncoats.

It ain't over 'til it's over just wait it out you'll see. There is too much of a respose to be fully ignored, I mean I'd love to have more movies or shows but I can read so I'd be happy with books... SOMETHING will come of it I'm sure.

$68,479,335 to go. I know that sounds like a lot, but realize that the 5th Element, a far inferior movie, grossed $17,031,345 opening weekend and only $63,820,180 domestically. But worldwide (and Serenity hasn't opened in most of Europe yet) it grossed $200,100,000. Thats a total of $263,920,180. We need $183,920,180 less than a movie like 5th element made. We can do it. Have faith. And go see the movie more.

How the hell? How is it 4th in box office? What movies are beating it? It can't be 4th! Serenity is one of the best movies in theatres right now. Maybe only 40 Year Old Virgin is better, but its been out for months.
Well I'm not worried. Really if Joss wants to continue with Firefly with another season or movie or whatever, then he will some way some how. Even if he goes bankrupt and has to live on the streets, he will find a pen and right a novel on toilet paper.

But basically, this week, it's been beaten up by History of Violence, Corpse Bride, and Flight Plan... But I think the "4th" ranking comes only from Tuesday's box office estimates... Overall, serenity is still 3rd so far in average theatre take.
Well... good thing that the only strong competition this coming weekend is "Two for the money" (Pacino and McConaughey) and that new Wallace & Grommet movie...

Definitely not to scaried about a sequel at this point, we grossed alot our first weekend. Hopefully we gross as much as the first weekend too... cause i think that says alot more then most movies , whos second weekend has a large dip in profits.
