Thinking about it, I think Ross used the word 'FLOP' as a contrast to 'EXELLENT'. And er, they did show a few tiny clips of Serenity.
Ross is indeed a geek, can't say I particularly like the man, but he does give credit where it's due.

1) I saw the repeat on Saturday -- Ross said "exultant", meaning, in Mal's words, "rise again".
2) Favourable review. All the clips were from www.serenitymovie.com by the looks of things. The programme was made better by seeing Chiwetel Ejiofor (the Operative) in another film released in the UK this week...in which he plays a drag queen.
