Let's see...relatively new fangirl, nice to meet y'all and hello. I'm looking forward to the Shindig, I can be recognized by my tattooed forearm and glasses and looking forward to having some fun; thanks for all the planning and hard work and this newbie looks forward to it.

So here's my question... as this is the first time that me and my sister will be attending the con, we really have no idea what to expect. Is a costume required for the shinding... or do people show up in just about everything??? We're pretty much going broke on this whole adventure (not that we're complaining) and costumes sadly are not in the budget ;)
