I have a region free DVD player and I already own a copy of Sapphire and Steel (highly recommended) and plan on buying Blake's 7 shortly. Knowing there will be a UK DVD release is good enough for me Very shiny.

Several "vanilla" DVDs of the new Dr. Who are already available from UK dealers, with 3 episodes per disc and no extras. A box set of all 13 episodes, with lots of special features and commentary tracks on all the episodes, will be out in November.

How is Sapphire and Steel? I've heard of it, but have never seen it.
