Ok, this buged me a fair amount.

Cordy comes back from the Higher Plain, sans memory. With her all fearful and not knowing who anyone is, the gang tries to slowly bring her back to the world she left. They tell her she use to work there, and that they're all friends. The answering machine picks up the phone, and sure enough...it's her voice. They have her stuff in the hotel, which she goes through photos, year books, etc. Point is, Angel and Co. are trying to ease her back. It only makes sense that they not tell her EVERYTHING, but what they have told her IS the truth. Which brings me to the obvious point.

How the hell can she say they LIED to her and that Conner is the only one she can trust??

He barely knows her, so what big deal is it that he fess up to what he knows ? Nothing! But for some reason she's all bent out of shape that they didn't bring her up to speed in 1 day, instead of taking time to work her back in. Grrrrr! Angel as a vampire w/ a soul, I can believe. But Cordelia blindly trusting Conner ( who didn't exactly score bonus points in the proteting Cordy contest ) is really a stretch for me..and not a very good one either. Ok, rant over.

If you haven't seen past this before I don't want to spoil it but there is an adequate explanation later on in the season.

Well some would say that a lie of omission is still a lie.

Having said that, one possible theory as to why she was so quick to trust connor may be because of Jasmine's surreptitious influence on cordy.
