My biggest claim to fame seems to be saying unpopular things and making myself a target. If that qualifies me, I got it in spades !

Anyways, due to negotiations, I've been attempting over the last week or so to put the last 15 years worth of salient financial and employment data of this organization into a database, b/c I'm due to meet with the CFO sometime next week. And I want to be able to show in black and white the issues that I brought up.

Aside from the fact that almost none of this information is directly available (I've been having to compile it from different sources and use the figures to calculate what I need), almost none of it is in electronic form. So I'll continue to type away for the next day or so. And literally staying till 4 or 5 am to get it done.

That's why I haven't got into any extended discussions lately, just off-the-cuff comments.

I guess I nominate myself as - number-cruncher !

Since both of them are decidedly Left-wingers, I probably wouldn’t be inclined to nominated either one of them, purely for political reason. I did the Left-wing thing already and didn’t care much for it.

Setting all politics aside though, I don’t know that much about HK, unfortunately. He or she seems a good enough chap, but I just haven’t spoken with HK enough to make any assessments about his character. He certainly seems to be a good deal more moderate then rue, but that’s not difficult. As for rue, I’ve spoken with him (or her) quite frequently over several issues on which we have disagreed with adamantly. I can confidently say this about rue, he or she is more then adequately intelligent, very educated, very strong willed and very opinionated, and a worthy opponent. All of which I consider to be admirable qualities. And while I would probably disagree with just about everything that a rue administration could possibly come up with, rue would probably make a capable president.

Nah... Not interesting enough.

What we need is for Rue and Finn to alternate days as Prexy & VP. SignyM and Auraptor can swap off as Secretary of State, and Gino and Hero as Attorney General. And, every other Thursday, I get to be King (It's good to be the King).
