It does sound like a fun screen shot. I still have mixed feelings concerning it. Buffy and Angel are of a totally different genre than Firefly. A crossover would seem a bit too gratuitous.
Sort of like putting Chewy in Ep. III of SW. I think he may have only been there so the fans would point and say "Hey there's Chewy!"
What does everyone else think? Convice me it would be a good idea.

Angel does rock but I do agree that it would be a bit strange to see him in the verse. I just think he would look a bit out of place.

I'd prefer to keep the Buffyverse separate from the 'Verseverse. It would feel like a violation (IMHO) of the "rules" of both 'verses.
However, I wouldn't mind a subtle little in-joke for us to get like say Inara has a client who's a lawyer and his firm isn't Wolfram and Hart but it's initials are W&H, or some kind of barely noticable appearance of a petite blonde woman who is an incredibly good martial artist. Like in the background of a bar fight.
But fanfic where Angel kicks some Reaver butt? Why the hell not?
And Angel does indeed rock.
