ImEarly, I used to look foward to your posts, but now when I see one, I sorta wish you hadn't.
You gotta do something about that picture, it stretches out the screen so wide that you have to scroll back and forth so much it almost isn't worth spending the time to read the post! Please remove it or change it and make your name one that I WANT to see on a thread again, okay?

Not like scrolling Chrisisall

There's no need to be so petulant Chrisisall, I didn't realize that the photo was so large, as it is rather petit on my screen.

It's removed from this and all future posts.

I don't mean to sound petulant, I just didn't know why it was happening...your posts never did that before. The screen doesn't stretch waaaay out on your monitor? Do I have a setting wrong on this thing? Sorry, I'm not a computer wiz, so I get frustrated easily. Plus I'm always fighting the F@#*ing popups!! F@#*ing Gore! This is all his fault!!!

I'm breathing slowly, now Chrisisall

In retrospect I think I should have known better, my screen resolution is 1280x1024, I've got one of those behemoth Dell flat screens.

Regarding your pop-up problem, what OS are you running, maybe I can help you out.

There is nothing wrong with wine, I'm just not a hops kinda guy.

My core beliefs:

Christianity is Truth.

Tolerance means letting other people hold their own opinions, even if they conflict with yours.

Tolerance is not that "what you believe is true for you, what I believe is true for me" nonsense. That's subjective pluralism, and it's bunch of hooey.

Guns do not have the ability to kill people all by themselves.

States with less restrictive gun laws have less crime.

Banning guns would have the same effect as banning pot has had--none.

The abortion debate will go on forever because one side is arguing about freedom of choice while the other side argues about the right to life. No progress can be made because they aren't even talking about the same thing!!!

I'm a conservative not because I was raised a Christian, nor because I'm rich, but because I think they have better ideas.

If you haven't served in the military, you're not qualified to comment on it.

Unless you have been in combat, don't arm-chair quaterback the things people do there. Until you have looked down the sights of an M-4 carbine with the firm conviction that it's him or you, you have no idea what combat is like.

You aren't really living until you have been in a situation in which you were convinced you'd die.

Well, I don't know what an OS is, and once I actually get to this site, it rarely happens, but something called stopzilla (ha! a pop up blocking ad) keeps poping up every few minutes along with other ads for travel prizes. And I supposedly have a pop up blocker with my DSL (whatever that stands for).

Another core belief: If the world is destroyed, it will be because of a computer glitch!!!
Skynet, anyone?

I know, it's just a tool (like a cyanide pill) Chrisisall

If you are able to use Mozilla I'd recommend it. I've never had a pop-up while using it. Yah, FireFox

There's a pop-up blocker included in the Google toolbar that works great for me. Also has some other useful functions--like an auto-fill-in-the-blanks function for forms that want your name, address, email, etc.

It may not be right for you, but I love it and it's free.
