Hey all... Started working our Islamic Books & Free Info booth at the L.A. County Fair in Pomona on Sept. 5. I brought along my BDP's (Big Bamn Perfumes) of our BDHs -- my "Scents of Serenity" Perfume oils [end of shameless plug] -- so if you're planning on going to the Fair it runs Wed-Sun until Sept. 28. I'm in Building 9, space 9131. I'm usually there from the morning to aroud 5:30pm, but I expect to be working the whole day and night shifts a lot, so stop by and say ni haody, and sample some of the "Scents of Serenity" (also will have on hand all the other oils I carry)... So there I am last Wednesday, minding my own business, going about my job and generally exisiting. I go into the storage room to get something and see that some idiot has put heavy boxes of industrial trash bags on top of a box of paper towels on top of the shelf. Just as I am thinking to myself that it would hurt someone when it fell THE FUCKING THING FELL ON MY HEAD! So now I have a freaking concussion, whip lash injury and have to have an MRI. I have also been sporting a lovely neck brace thingy all week, it is not lovely. Apparently the damn box weighs more than 9 pounds. But I got me some good drugs!
