Shiny happy!

as I type, I am wearing my new Blue Sun tank top. why is this so special, you ask? well, I shall tell you. I made this tank myself. I cut off the clear plastic cover from a handout at work, printed out the logo, got out my new razor with its spiffy handle, and went to work. (oh, and this is all possible because my mom sent me the contents of the craft drawer, including my t-shirt paints). A day of drying later, I have my very own Blue Sun t-shirt. Unfortunately, no one knows of its significance (none of my roommates are browncoats, though the ones I have roped into watching do like it), so I needed to share my mightiness with those who would understand. I think I am going to try an Independent on next, but I have have to find a black top, cause I only have green and yellow paint. that is all for the gut-spilling tonight...must go eat dinner (with my new shirt on...hope River's not there  ). the wall

My One and Only

It's 10:48 p.m do you know where your brain is? I just got back from the theatre. I can't even begin to explain how much I love going to the theatre. I am an admitted showtune junkie and going to see live shows just makes me so feel warm and fuzzy inside. Tonight I saw Gershwin's My One and Only and once again shiny goodness ensued. S'wonderful, S'marvelous...lalalala... Ok so I can't sing or really dance for that matter, but boy do I wish I'd stuck to the tap dance lessons when I was 5. Now just one strange thing about me and theatre experiences. Every time I go I bawl like a baby. Which is ok, if it's RENT, Ragtime, Aida, or some other heart wrenching show. The thing is, even the happy ending, romantical ones (like My One and Only) really get to me. I turn into this overly emotional dork. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the feeling it gives me, but I don't see a lot of other people (ok no one at all) reacting in this way. So am I weird or what?
