Serenity Release
Monday, 07 November 2005 07:53:28

"Serenity" is being released right before Christmas, which is awesome because that's one gift I can get for my boyfriend. :) I want to get one for myself too. :p I've been debating with myself lately about whether or not I should keep buying my own copy of DVDs that my boyfriend and I like in common. We haven't lived together, but might at some point in the future. I like owning my own stuff. But if/when we get a new place together, would it be weird to have two copies of several movies and shows? :p I guess it's always nice to have backups and all. *shrugs*

Hi Again!

Wow! ^ ^ People actually responded to my blog entry! This place is friendly! I will have to come back more often when I'm not more friendly. Made my first post in the Tranquili-Bush thread. I thought it was going to be political, and apparently I wasn't the only one neither. ^ ^ I'm so sad that the last day of Serenity playing in theaters was last Thursday. @ @ I actually went to see the last showing with my roomie. So sad. ::reads through her entry:: wow... you can tell I'm tired. That sentence up there? Wher eit says "When I'm not more friendly?" was supposed to say "When I'm not as busy." Sure I could probably just edit it now, and no one would ever know I made that mistake... but I think it looks funny. XD Ugh... I'm so scared i have such a crazy scary test tomorrow that I know I'll flat out fail. This isn;t one of those things where you say "Oh, I'm sure you'll do fine, you just have to calm down." No... you don't understand... I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING! I don't know whatthe test will cover, what the test will be like, how long it will be, what format the test is... @ o I'm so dead. I have a feeling it'll be covering everything... all 550 pages of the very small print, very tall and very wide book on Native American Pre-Historic cultures. If it's multiple choice I may still be able to make it. If it's something where I have to write in the answers? I'm screwed. Gorram majorly screwed. I'd spout out Chinese swearing if I knew it for ya, but I don't so we'll just have to stick with Gorram. I'M GONNA GORRAM FAIL!!!

I wish I was psychic.

It would make things so much easier. And interesting....very interesting. Well...I guess I'm wishing I was telepathic. It'd be nice to know what someones thinking...or what they mean when they say something. You know, what the really mean? Without having to admit that you know it. Just...walking into someones mind. I guess its kinda like reading a diary. And I guess its wrong in that respect. Writing a diary must feel rather odd. I started a manly "journal" once. That didn't last very long. But when I was writing it...I kinda wrote with it in mind that one day when I was long gone someone would find it and read it. I'd like that. Someone to read my thoughts and feelings when Im no longer here. Hmmm Yeah I don't really know what this blogs about. I passed my driving theory test, wahoo.

Jaylee Vid Idea... wooo!
Monday, 07 November 2005 15:52:49

Okay, so... I've had this idea for a fanvid for the longest time, but haven't been able to do it for two simple reasons. I haven't been able to get the right mpeg files (I've been playing with AVI, which is just crap, visual wise) and it's actually a medley of three songs, not just one, which... I am so technically illiterate it's not even funny and I haven't been able to splice the songs into anything useful. But... I have both problems solved!! Yay me! Now all I have to do is get the clips from my DVDs and it'll be done. I'm very excited. My last vid was Simon/River to "Touched" by VAST, where I originally used AVI, but remade the whole thing with mpegs, so it's very cool, the graphics are crystal clear, and I'm very proud now:

Angelica is talking to me again!!! Yay!

The best show and movie ever...
Monday, 07 November 2005 19:00:27

Everything about me now is based on "Fairfly" and "Serenity".Not only was it a great show and movie but there was alot to learn from every eposide and charactor. We relied on the network to bring thing to us that we will like and apprishate, but instead of putting the things we like they put shit :disappointed: Anyone that has a brain that looked at friefly loved it,but the network had to cancle it :censored: I loved it. So far it is still #1 on my list of favourite movies; and it's going to stay that way.I hope they are big enough to accept there mistake and air "Firefly" agian.

Word of the Day: Serenity
Monday, 07 November 2005 19:01:02

We have this custom in class. Every day, the class is begun by a student saying some words that mean something special to him, or as it mostly is, that sound cool. This can be a poem, a song, an editorial from a magazine... Ok, that last bit, not so meaningful, but anything goes. Today was my turn. My turn. 2 weeks ago, I was in Bergen for Bergen International Film Festival, in order to catch a screening of Serenity. I got in, barely. (They overbooked the place ) Before the film started, this guy showed up on screen. It was the video of Joss' presentation of the film to those who were going to be the lucky ones to see it. The speechifying was good, and to be honest, I had it memorized there and then. People clapped. A little digression now. People clapped even moreso after the movie, something which never happens in Norway. There was dancing. Ok, maybe I was the only one dancing, but still, dancing! I recited Joss Whedon's speech to my class. They had no way of knowing that this was coming, or how to relate to the funniness that is Joss Whedon. Yet, they laughed, they clapped and my teacher said: "We have to go see that movie." Notice the we part. If this get's an extra 20 tickets sold to Serenity, I'm proud. There is still hope. For Serenity.
