I made it through my first shindig chat yesterday! Thanks for the warm welcome everyone from a newbie. I wish I could have been in the chat during the peak hours but well, life sometimes get in the way. I'm off to work for a few hours this morning and then back home to be lazy once again. Extended holiday weekends are so wonderful. Please, if you feel like chatting look me up. Moviechic3 on AIM and slayerfan1975 on Yahoo. I'm starting to get the hang of this place, finally. SF

when I first became aware of "Firefly" the series was way after it was off the air. Apologize to all the fans for not supporting the show when I should have. But due to my own personal "demons" I had to scale back on lot of my expenses and one was cable-tv. When I got the DVD's and watched the entire series, it had a lot of great potential. Only problme Joss Weadon had was he made the mistake and went with a network. Sci-fi shows, series, are best to be put in syndication. That's how Gene Roddenberry manage to revive the Star Trek "Universe". He didn't have to deal with the studio execs on how to run his show. "Firefly" as a series had some great potential. The characters was finally coming in on their own. The introduction of the "Saffron" character was a great touch, but they had to limit her appearences (if it lasted)to twice a season. That's enough of my rambling for now.

I might have fleas. No, really, I might. My parents acquired a puppy at the weekend and so my sister and I welcomed it into the family but then we were told that it might have fleas or ticks and that they might spread to us. Nasty little things but the puppy (Milly) is soooooo cute. Unfortunately, our older dog Lucy was jealous at the best of times and now there's a new dog on her territory getting attention? She's not happy. In fact, she's pretending that the puppy isn't even there. Still, when she gets bigger they'll have to play together. I also had to sleep in the room next to her last night and she whimpered and whined a lot of the time, missing her playmates presumably. Our cat? Well, our cat is staying well out of it. She likes to walk by herself.
