OK. Wallpaper's up downstairs. Not so much hapenning with the moving thing. The weather has officially changed up hyar, and I'm not looking forward to moving in the snow...again. Who knows, we may be stuck here till spring any old how. Work's been a grind the last couple of weeks. I'm cranky 'cause at least half the staff is cranky and I wish they'd either get over it or move on. There are some legitimate gripes, but not nearly that many. I'm not getting much (OK anything) done on the fanfic writing front. I've barely been able to check my email, let alone read through threads and fanfics. I'm pooped. At least I've gotten through a few books in the last three weeks. Christopher Moore has saved the day. Wacky fun! Cocoa and rice pudding are calling me.

Well, after spending the better part of a week having to literally concentrate and make a significant effort just to take a full breath, I finally got myself to the doctor yesterday. Ever had bronchitis? If not, some advice: Avoid it, if at all possible. My doctor prescribed two inhalers and told me to take it easy (HA!), and I am breathing a little easier now. Still, I would not wish the way I'm feeling on my worst enemy. Okay, MAYBE on certain network executives. I'm only human...

Well, The company I worked for has given me an unexpected and hopefully temporary vacation. Giving me plenty of time to watch FF and Serenity. Apparently, hard work and dedication don't mean as much as they used to. I wish I had a dollar for everytime I've heard..."There just isn't any good help out there." I made the fatal mistake of going to my employer and asking them to move me to another position. I had "voluntarily" moved to a very high stress job on a temporary basis until they found a permenant replacement...unfortantely I work very hard and feel a sense of responsibility about my work. Why is this unfortunate? Because I was successful...which then means that the employer doesn't want to move you back. I asked to be moved and they refused. Gosh, working 70-80hrs a week and getting paid for 40hrs isn't so shiny. It also pisses off the family. I had to make my line in the sand and they said stay and shut up or get out. After 10 months I couldn't work that many hours anymore so I walked. I did get to pull a version of the Mal qoute though, "I may be on the losing end of this but I'm not on the wrong end." But, as I said the good news is that I have the time to re-watch the series for the 3rd time and Serenity for the 5th time. Life isn't all bad!

msg, I wasn't excluding you, look at the first line, I just said some times it looks like, I didn't say blue IS the only one, it just some times seems like blue is.
