Caution: Calm Easily Damaged

Life would glide so much smoother if I could just shut the smeggin' hell up. I try. I really do try. It just doesn't work too well. I reach a certain level of frustration with my surroundings or situation, and all manner of truth comes spewing out of my mouth at full volume. The censor never really worked too good to begin with, but when push comes to shove I go off like an idiot savant with an attitude and a vocabulary that a sailor would be ashamed to own up to. Hence the amount of time spent in the corner...

Why I haven't been around, and probably won't be for a while ...

WOW! Busy times. I haven't really been around around this month. At the beginning, I was in Austria. Then I was really busy helping out at my local primary school. Then I was on a pilgrimage to Lourdes! It was all brilliant though. Especially the pilgrimage - it was even better than last year. Everyone was a lot closer, and I really felt like I was helping more. I miss the place already (we call it PLD, or Post-Lourdes Depression!) even though I've only been home 2 days! I can't wait to go back next year XD Anyway, I don't know how likely it is that I'll be around for a while now. There's a lot going on for me right now, and I'm unsure as to how much time I'll get online. Obviously, I'm still going to try and keep on track of my fanfic, but really that'll be all I get chance to do. For anybody who's religious, I'd like to ask you to keep someone in your prayers. A woman who lives near me, and in fact is rather close to my family, has been quite severely injured. She's like my second mother, and its very hard for me to see her like this. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and a tree fell on her. Luckily, it missed her head, but it did catch her shoulder, which knocked against her vertebrae, and has caused the loss of sensation below her waist. At the moment, the doctors aren't sure if she'll walk again - although yesterday she said that she could feel her foot, which is really quite remarkable in these early stages! Hopefully she will make a full recovery. So, that was just to explain why I have so little time for the internet right now. Hopefully I'll be around to talk to you all again soon! Much love, WuS xxx
