I felt like sharing the good news! I've actually managed to finish my Computer Science assignment (University). Over 2000 lines of java code that actually works complete with written test plan. This will mean very little to most of you (frankly the code makes my head spin :knife:) but I felt the need to share and it's 1.30am here and everyone else is asleep. Wow... this means I can actually go to bed now and try not to have dreams involving annoying lines of coding like System.out.println("") :pissed:. Maybe I won't even have my usual nightmares about semi-colons I missed out causing whole programs to crash. Sleep well everyone!

"did the primary buffer pannel just fall of my ship for no apparent reason?" One of the great movie quotes of all time. But will it have a follow up? Will there be a "Serenity 2" of sorts? Although I've heard rumors i dont think the world will ever know. Well unless there is one of course. Until next time :finger: malcomreynoldsisgod

There is nothing here. It wasn't woth the effort of clicking on it. Anyway, since there's some space to write here I might as well tell you about last night. I may have steard a fellow toward the verse last night. I was with a group of people talkin about stuff and I mentioned Serenity (I try to fit it into as many conversations as possible ). This guy (I won't tell you his name) asked if it was any good. He had obvoiusly heard of it but hadn't seen it. I, of course entlightened him. I also just had to mention Firefly. Mention of the show got a bloank look from him. Damn FOX and thier idiotic marketing! I proceded to tell him some, but not too much, about it and he left looking thoughtful. I believe he will check it out. I'll have to ask him the next time I see him.

Cowgirl and I have our first grand child, Wesley Neal Swanson. He was born at 12:22 a.m. on March 29th. After 14 hours of labor they decided to deliver him by caesarean section. He weighed 8.1 lbs., 20 3/4 inches long, and his head was 14" around. The Mother and Child are doing well and the Father is rightfully proud. (As are Cowgirl and I) Thanks to all of you who wished us well. I'll add some pictures as soon as I have a chance.

OK, so it's finally my birthday and my party is this weekend **WOO HOO** It was a gorram awful day, except I got to talk to my sweetheart, and I have my plane ticket booked to head over for my month of shiny times. I can't wait to see him. *Offers around big slices of my left over chocolate marble cake*

Does anyone know if there is any site(s) out there that have lists of all the various Firefly/Serenity interviews, featurettes, video clips that can be downloaded? I keep finding random interviews everywhere but for most of them you can only watch them online and not download to disk.

I do my best stand-up comedy sitting down, in front of the comupter. Throw all the tomatos you want  Z

Using screencaps and such from the TV show, I'm beginning an "Alliance Uniform Identification" guide. Here's what I have so far: Colonel (The Train Job) Commander (2 variants: bushwhacked and Serenity) Lieutenant (The Message) Ensign (Serenity) Communications Officer(bushwhacked) Field Commander (Trash) Naval Trooper (Trash& Ariel) Federal Trooper (The Train Job & Others) Medical Staff(Bushwhacked) Federal Marshal (Ariel) I think the guy who comes aboard to look over Book (Safe) was probably a commander, but his hat is a bit different. Any thing I missed? My thinking on the distinct differences between Firefly and Serenity is as follows: Firefly shows us the Naval troops and officers while Serenity showed us a kind of Parliamentary Special corps. A Special division of the military specific to parliamentary operations. I'll probably handle them seperately.
