broke up with my friend in september... he wasn't as dedicated to me as i was to him. but in october i met someone new... we started going out in november, and its almost 3 months. he kinda reminds me of wash... lol. i love him...

I used to write Firefly role-play over on StoryCrafter.com. When the game was still running, I would have the occasional difficulties with the other members of the staff - the SC and the other co-PA. They had a hard time communicating with each other, plus the SC was the kind of guy who would agree to a plot and then go off and do his own thing. Back in June--three weeks after my Mom died suddenly--he eviscerated the game. Didn't just delete it. Oh no. He deleted all the threads. My work, our work, the cast's work, all of it. Suffice to say, I have good justification when I say I won't participate in any form of Firefly RP again. Ever. There are some names I can't speak anymore because of it. John Coffey - his main character in the game - and Roger. Speaking someone's name gives them power, recognition. So I figure eliminating a name from my consciousness has the opposing effect. In the dark times, pre-evisceration, when I felt more like a like a referee and less like a writer I would come here to FFF.net to remember the shiny times of being a Firefly Fan. Sure, I was here very freshly from the [i]Throes of Cancellation[/i], but there was a great group here, and we were all about Firefly. This site still is all about Firefly, and I cannot begin to describe how jazzed I am to come here and find at least three new posts that start with various versions of the words "new here." We're still flying, and that really is good enough.
