... But actually I did it to myself. So, I have been to the dentist in several years. Partially because of insurance reasons (damn medicare not covering dentists....), and partially because I dislike going. Unfortunately, lately I've been grinding my teeth something fierce while sleeping (or so the wife tells me) which has receded my gum line a fair bit. This combined with plague buildup because of the lack of visits, has given me a cavity (luckily only one). Not only that, but one of my fillings is failing (luckily on the same tooth), along with another one which will have to be fixed soon as well. But, here's the kicker. I found out I have early Periodontitis. Luckily only in spots, but it still sucks. So, what happened today was a cleaning. Which has made my sensitive teeth bloody freaking sensitive!!! That first gulp of Dr. Pepper this evening was quite the shocker! So, Monday I get my filling fixed and extended to the new cavity. I'm happy to have it done so soon, but the needle...

Hey, all. Just wanted to put it out there that some of the finest writing I've laid eyes on has been popping up lately hereabouts. Homespun, Jetflair, Mal4Prez, Slumming, CaptainVimes, just to name a few whose works I follow regularly, have put out absolutely not-to-be-missed work. I'm toiling mightily on another work, myself. I am so happy! Both exams went really well. In that, though they were tricky, there wasn't a single question where I got that horrible 'Crap! I don't know how to answer this' pang. They can really bum girl out. So, I'm confident that I've at least passed, which, after all is all I need in first year, and possibly done quite well, but let's not push it. Of course, we all know what that means... THREE MONTHS OF NON STOP FAN FICTION WRITING! *ahem* Going home for my sister's birthday today, then back in Newcaslte for my last week as a first year. My oh my how time has flown. Just think, a year ago, I'd never even HEARD of Firefly. How foolish I was. Okay, gonna stop rambling now. Love to all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
