So, uh, yeah. My search for a browncoat cotinues. Need a browncoat. Muti wont let me wear blue gloves to the premier, so browncoat it is! Tried to donload the trailer but it timed out :pissed:. And thus ends another blog entry!

So here's the run down: - Army green M41 Army Helmet with various Browncoat logos painted on it - Army green t-shirt - Brown/khaki suspenders - 1:1 scale replica airsoft G36 rifle, black finish - Brown/khaki trousers - Brown suede/leather western style vest :blush: So its not 100% accurate to the show missing the notable [silver finish G36, red vest, fringe shirt, chainmail arm guards]...but hey its an "Inspired By" costume...well either that or I'm lazy. So if you see an asian guy with glasses in that garb, you'll have sighted yourself a browncoat. See ya'll at Dragon-Con

In anwser to my insane ramblings, my computer wouldn't post a new thread because my computer is sick, it is now getting fixed up in the hospital. Soon I will return to my emails and e-news letters of ElfQuest *sigh* :D on another note, I got one of the locals to borrow my Firefly disk one but he wouldn't watch it. I mean why get my hopes up if you aren't even going to try it. On the plus side I have gotten his sister interested in seeing at least one because of my wild and crazy spacemonkey/firefly/song/qoutes tee-shirts! whahahahaha!!!

Amanda was a terribly nice little girly. She was inquisitive, trusting and immediately friendly with anyone. I'd see her scooting around the neighborhood with her brother Stevie in tow. Often she'd wave at me from across the street when I'd come home from work. She'd bedevil Matt, the other neighbor kid, something fierce. I always thought that when those two became teenagers their childhood arguments would turn to flirting, then to dating. One day she'd break his heart, she being the more adventurous and more likely to leave town in pursuit of other dreams. Just this spring she helped my wife and I plant flowers in our front porch planters. She thought we were cool even though we are adults. I recall my wife and I discussing having a Harry Potter party for our nieces and the children of our friends. Mandy was to be invited. She went to bed on Monday, excited for school the next day. Too excited? I don't know, it's just hard for me to imagine her excitement caused this. It is still confused, but complications from an asthma attack either led to her stopping breathing or to a heart attack. She's gone now. I guess my feeling is confusion. Monday she was a healthy 10 year old girl. It is unheard of for something to happen this fast. To those reading, sorry for the downer. The Firefly fan site is where I have been spending my free time and interest, it now happens to be where I am trying to organize my thoughts. Real life circumstance has forced its way into my attention. All the dreaming, discussion, excitement and good natured argument that I have found here has been removed from my thoughts. "Normal" will return later, for the moment please accept good wishes from the wellspring of grief. Clear skys

It’s here! It’s really here! I usually check Apple’s trailer section in the vain hope that some unannounced [i]Serenity[/i] teaser will be posted, but today I made a special effort to check the site. In fact, I’ve been checking it three and four times an hour since I woke up this morning, waiting for the Farscape: Peacekeeper War trailer to be put up. Needless to say, when I finally saw it, a beautiful PKW ‘movie poster’ icon right up there at the top, I was ecstatic. I’ve seen the little trailer Skiffy execs show on the Sci Fi channel, but this one one blows that out of the water! It’s awesome! When Rockne and Brian said it would blow people’s minds, they weren’t kidding. It looks to be everything I’ve come to expect from Farscape and more. I can’t wait till October!
