BDH voice acting
Saturday, 25 March 2006 02:44:07

Ok. I was fiddling around on imdb and at one point I descided to check out our BDHs. Guess what I found out. Four, you heard me, four of our BDHs hve done voice work on the Justice League cartoon. I'm not really into that kind of show but I might try to catch those episodes to see if I can identify the voices. Nathan vioced a dude in two eps. Morena and Gina seemed to have recuring characters in three and four eps respectivly. Adam has voiced three seperate characters. Who knew? Life after FF appaers to be JL. Kudos to them for giving our BDHs work at least.

I have cut my gorram gums on a chicken wing!
Saturday, 25 March 2006 03:13:05

How stupid is that??! My Spousal Unit cut up all the wings with his shiny butcher's knife, and apparently, left a sharp, poiny edged bone piece that decided it would slice open my gums when I tried to eat it. Can you say pain boys and girls? Stings like all get out too... Really. There was blood, and maybe tears too... I feel like such a boob!

Bands that Rock And People That Care.
Saturday, 25 March 2006 05:14:07

Actually it's country rock, but whatever. What I want to know is have any of y'all ever heard of a band named Kane? The lead singer and co-founder of the band played Lindsey(another guy with a girl's name, but a lot prettier than Jayne) on Angel. Well, he was telling the story behind this song he wrote and one line just made me want to stand up and clap. He lived next door to this couple who fought a lot and it seemed like the woman was always crying. One day he heard the guy throwing her around, so he, and this parts a quote, "So I went over and politely knocked on the door and then politely beat the shit out of him." It's not a funny subject, but the way he delivered made the audience and me laugh. It also got a lot of cheers. The girl never talked to him again, but apparently she did break up with the guy. I can only hope she got the help she needed. Anyway I know what he said wasn't very politically correct, and technically it was assualt, and he might have just made things worse for the woman, but I hope it is a true story because it's nice to know there are people who still care about their neighboors. A lot of others might have just turned up their stereo and ignored it. Also, the bands music is good, a little unpolished, but good and if anybody wants a listen let me know.

Coincidence?

Anybody else notice the rescue ship on Miranda has the same serial number as the star cruiser in the classic movie Forbidden Planet - C57-D?

2320 Hrs Hmmm... Discovered A New & An Old Verse
Saturday, 25 March 2006 13:56:05

This week I have discovered the world of OTR (Old Time Radio) and found some really cool stuff. If anyone likes listening to Abbott and Costello radio shows and that sort of thing then I recommend getting into OTR. Man what a huge verse this was before the advent of TV! If your interested in this, you can check out the links below.

Thanks go out to the ones I know about! Seryn, Bookaddict, BlueEyedBrigadier, copilot, Raelene, and Jennifer- thanks for all the help and comments! My site no longer looks so lonely with visitors from the US, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, and Chile. The bits up top and at the bottom started life separate, but somehow squished together. The blank spaces bother me too, but until I figure out how to fix it...it stays.:banghead: I'm still fairly new to the whole computer thing-it takes me a while to figure things out! Thanks once again for all the support! D

In the Dark
Saturday, 25 March 2006 22:37:00

I posted chapter 1 of In the Dark not five minutes ago. The other four will appear as I find the time to write and post them. This episode is looking to have more action than the first two, so hopefully I'll keep you on your toes more than in the past... Thanks for reading, and any suggestions or criticisms are welcome (even if I don't use them.) :P
