Finally got around to having my nose re-pierced. The stud pulled through to the inside just before Christmas and I needed to let it finish healing. Then I got busy. So it took me... oh two months or so longer than it had to. That's twice I've been surprised at how much less it hurts than I expect it to. :smile:

Hired out by Reynolds for a job and is then asked to sign on as crew (Series 1 - 1: Hun Dan). Like Mal and Zoe she fought in the war but did sabotage work blowing up Alliance facilities with her mother. She can conjure up an alias as sure as breath. She can also conjure up a bomb in the same way. [b]Karl Jacobsson[/b] - In the wake of uncertainty after the BDM and a few hairy moments since, Mal hires Karl as an extra gun hand. Signed on to Serenity in November 2518, after [i]Hun Dan[/i]. Skills: Gun-hand and muscle like Jayne. Criminal past like Jayne but also served time as well. You can imagine why they get on so well. Karl does think about the bigger picture more and after [i]Ghosts in the Past[/i], he has a major secret of his own revealed (Series 1 - 2: Humped). [b]Tony Pye[/b] - Bane Pye's brother and Captain of the Rosalyn, the first Pye Eatings vessel since the war (Series 1 - 1: Hun Dan). [b]Abe Fairly[/b] - Brilliant mechanic and former owner of Serenity before she was bought by Malcolm Reynolds (Series 1 - 12: One Careful Owner). Later gets a job as mechanic on the Rosalyn. [b]Esperanza Pedrosa[/b] - Abe's adopted daughter and now the wife of one of our BDHs (Series 1 - 11: Reunions). [b]James Dedham[/b] - former Alliance Lieutenant and then Colonel who has various illegal dealings on the side. A nasty piece of work who has a vengeful history with Bane Pye and keeps coming back like a bad smell (Series 1 - 3: Prairie Run). [b]Hans Kifelder[/b] - Mayor of Munchen on Deutschland. His father is Mayor of Hannover and his mother (Berta) has a tendency to interfere in his life, which is why he lives in Munchen. He is with one of our BDHs (Series 1 - 9: Ich Liebe Dich) and comes up with the suggestion of buying the land that later becomes Gang Kou. [b]Uri Kostova 'Koz'[/b] - long-standing acquaintance of Mal & Zoe and owner of Kostova Ship Repair on Boros (bought in the wake of the murder of the Sanchez Bros in the BDM). Gives Mal the occasional job, but is Serenity's favourite place for an overhaul (Series 1 - 3: Prairie Run). [b]Spike[/b] - Kostova's first mate and expert mechanic and pilot. As protective towards Koz as Zoe is to Mal (Series 1 - 3: Prairie Run). [b]Kaylee's family[/b] - Ray & Winnie Frye and their sons; Ray Jr, Lewis and Archie (Series 1 - 12: One Careful Owner) who live on Highgate. [b]Jayne's family[/b] - Matt & Dee Cobb and their younger son, Matty - although now he is older he prefers Matt (Series 1 - 15: Jayne). They come from Muir. [b]Ishmael[/b] - The son of one of our BDHs (Series 1 - 16: Return to Deutschland). [b]Stan Togashi[/b] - Pilot on the Rosalyn. Takes very little seriously, living fast and playing hard. Another one to get involved with one of our BDHs (Series 1 - 1: Hun Dan). [b]Mary Francis[/b] - Captured onto the slave ship near the same time as Corren Pye. She is from Lilac and has seen our BDHs at work first-hand, though she was just a child at the time (Series 1 - 18: Reavers Return). [b]Pavel Wladek[/b] - Alliance Comms specialist, now at the rank of Colonel. Known as a boy scout to his colleagues. Works with Bane Pye to bring down James Dedham (Series 1 - 6: Wedding Blues). [b]Monty Reynolds[/b] - Still around, though mainly specialising in weapons smuggling. His crew are called Rocky, Barstow and Eric, and are just as loyal as Mal's (Series 1 - 2: Humped). [b]Sheydra[/b] - Inara's friend at the Companion House. Later, her family connections help one of the crew of Serenity out of some deep [i]go se[/i] (Series 1 - 5: Ships in the Night). [b]Laurence Hosier[/b] - deputy and friend of Pavel Wladek, who he considers a mentor (Series 1 - 8: Alliance vs Serenity). [b]Hieronymous Dudge[/b] - ex-bounty

Well all I Had my baby... like 2 months ago. Now don't be sad, yes it took a while for me to get back and say hi. But life was created, i was busy. Or very very tired, depending on the day. Liam was born Feb 20th at 10:28pm. I had such high hopes that the whole process would go more quickly this time around... sadly it took about 4 more hours than with my first one. *sigh* He was my "little" guy at 8lbs even. (sam was 9lbs 3oz) He had some health issues in the beginning. Nothing life threatening, just a LOT of getting his blood drawn and dr appointments. but all is healthy now and he's sleeping pretty well most of the time... last night not so much. but MOST of the time.

Okay. Just to start this on a Firefly note, I have been working on the Fly/Who fic. Not very much, as I have to type some stuff up, I swear I've done it before, and I'm wary. But. I'm also working on some random fic in Firefly. The main point of this... however... *sigh* is my Whofic. Incidentally, I's a member over at www.whofic.com and... yeah. I've just started posting. So, those of you who follow it, look me up. I's Fizzix. Just like here. Just like the rest of the world. Have a Doomsday ending re-write I'm working on, some finicky wordplay, and if I play my cards right, I might cut my random regeneration fic-let fluff-ness to scratch. I've got one about Dalek OSes, in where a Dalek is run by various OSes. First installment's Windows 2000, based on the ep "Dalek", (suprise!), and should be coming up soon. And I hate dentistry. :blast: (Teh Dentists) I know, I'm a bad person. Smack me for neglecting Flyfic for a while later... I'm really thinking about Chapter eight (*laugh* I don't even have above four posted yet, do I?), but... need a plot eventually, else it's gonna end, 'n' I'm'a have to write another. Which I will. Back to my random Whovian plot bunnies ('cos, admit it, they're quite Gallifreyan biased), I have a game of Go Fish that I HAVE to write, with One-Ten, (running gags include the seal of Rassilon on the back of the cards, asking Seven if he's any aces, and "Let's not talk about future events," "It's not my future, is it?" "Yes." XD). Mmmhm. I guess I'll just leave my Fic-writing rants for later, then. But... OMG, PACCAR's up $7.77 a share. I have twenty. SQUEE FACTOR BEYOND REASON!
