Just letting ya guys know about this really cool movie I'm currently watching. I know this isn't about firefly or serenity it's just a really funny musical/zombie movie. The title is Dead and Breakfast. If you tear yourself out of the 'verse for a couple of hour you should check it out!

When is someone officially considered a Firefly fan? How much must someone love Firefly before they can call themselves a fan, or a Browncoat? A. Interest: You’ve started watching the series. You really like it and want to watch more. B. Mild Interest: You’ve seen all fourteen episodes and the movie, you love them but you haven’t watched them more than once yet. Maybe you’ve watched your favorite episode again. C. Medium Interest: You’ve seen all the episodes, and the movie. You’ve seen most of the episodes more than once and you are continuing to re-watch episodes when you have time. D. High Interest: You’ve already watched every episode, including the pilot, more than four times, and you now watch an average of three episodes a week. E. Obsessed: You’ve watched every episode more times than you can count with your fingers, including the movie. You love anything Firefly related and you frequently visit the fireflyfans website. F. Helplessly Obsessed: You are completely obsessed! You can’t stop thinking about Firefly/Serenity, you’ve watched every episode and the movie more times than you have the mental capacity to remember, you practically live on the fireflyfans website, you watch an average of an episode and a half every day, and you wish you had yet more time to spend in the ‘verse. You can't get enough Firefly! G. Self Pronounced: You consider yourself to be a Firefly fan. In your own opinion, by your own viewpoint, you consider yourself a fan—doesn’t matter how much you’ve watched the show or how into it you are, you just consider yourself a fan. H. Any: Any of the above. Just curious what people think  So... what is it? Which one makes you a fan? What do you think?

I'm not going to get into the gory details here, but my life hasn't exactly been going super lately. Just figured out that I've wasted an academic year, so no graduate school next year for me. Don't know where I'm gonna live after Apr. etc But, here's the pretty much only good part in my life right now; you guys. Everytime life starts going south, I always seems to gravitate to posting more/being more involved here. And there you all are, your nice, friendly, supportive selves. Probably not even knowing it, because it's just you. So, for making my life easier, thanks. You guys are the best.

Actually, I think Tricia Helfer is #6. (Why are women named after numbers so sexy?) No, really, though, an album of music inspired by Firefly and Serenity just hit #6 on the CDBaby charts. Check it out:

Ah, yes. Today I go back to work at the rodeo. Boots, jeans, and way too many hats. Funny, I used to like cowboy hats, but now I look at the people wearing them kinda sideways. Of course it doesn't help that I am also wearing a hat. I know I am not evil, I am just drawn that way. I am still trying to figure out who I am in the 'verse. Sadly, I think I am most like Jayne...not that it is a bad thing, I just know I have a bit more smarts than him. But the whole junkyard bulldog thing does kinda strike a cord in me. Maybe tomorrow I will compare how I am like Zoe.

Ok as everyone in the verse now knows things are looking up a bit for me. But just because everything's shiny now doesn't mean that I am going to forget everyone's kindness of the last few months. I want this blog to be dedicated to *everyone* who in the past has commented on my blogs, or on my stories, or chatted to me in the chat room, or just tagged me to tell me that I mean something. It's been a long, rough couple of months and I'm not lying when I say that everyone's kind words and advice have truly helped me through this. I'm so proud to be a brown coat, thank you everyone for everything and if there is anything I can ever do to help any of you out, just say the word. This entry comes with a special chocolate-chip cookie to say thank you and that every brown coat in the verse is special. I hope you guys never forget that. I'll keep everyone posted as to my moving, right now it's slow but steadily progressing. Also it's my birthday in a little over a month- my 21st, I'm so excited  thanks again everybody, I'll have some more fic up soon and I hope everyone has the shiniest weekend immaginable.

Hi All, This will likely be of no interest to anyone but myself but with the latest chapter my ongoing FanFic story arc that started with Death or Glory, continued with Wolfpack then Here Be Dragons and now continues with Horse, Foot and Artillery is now over 250,000 words long! The fact that anyone is still reading my stuff after a quarter million words is probably the only real revelation here  Jon (Hotpoint)

That's it. I've done it. No more whinging, no more moping. I'm gonna do something about it. If Joss could film a few minutes of something and get a movie advertised and doing as well as it is, I can do this. Mal held Serenity Valley. I'm gonna take it back. I may be new, may be unsure where this is gonna go, but it's starting and it's starting now. The virus is gonna spread. Chatting and recruiting can only get us so far. We need to do something more than this, get PROactive rather than sitting around on a board complaining and wistfully aching for the old days when Firefly was on TV. Waiting with bated breath for a sequel that may never come. I don't want to be pacified with a comic series. I don't want novellas to keep me happy. I want the show back where it was. After all, aren't WE the ones who WATCH it??? We're the ones who spend our hard earned cash on things they make. We're the ones who go all googlie eyed over the actors. We just want a simple show. Browncoats will speak and be heard. By everyone.
