Ok. Maybe not just yet, but soon. Very soon. Which has me wondering..how will the rest of the 'verse react to our lil movie? Soon it won't be just 'ours' anymore. And I say 'ours' for obvious reasons...we fell in love w/ the BDH's from the 1st time we saw them. We suffered at the loss of [i]Firefly[/i] and the big "C" word by the suits at They-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, then rejoyced mightily when the DVD's came out. Then we got the best news...unexpected, unbelivable.... the BDM was going to be made! Interest spiked again, DVD sales shot up, word spread that [i]Serenity[/i] was on her way! This must be a little like what a parent feels when their beloved child goes out in the world. On the one hand, you WANT everyone to see, meet and love that what you've come to care about so much. But on the other hand, once it takes off, (and it will ), it'll never be like it is now. Just for us. Our [i]PRECIOUS![/i]:biggrin: We have 7 months and 1 day till the premier of [i]Serenity[/i]. Between now and then, spoilers will leak out, trailers will be viewed, and a ground swell of opinion will herald its arrival. How much will be known about the movie, and what those charming, smart, and good looking critics :wink: will say, only time can tell. Will our BDM be a sleeper ? or will it be over hyped ? Will it take a hit for coming out prior to SW - Revenge of the Jedi? Or will that only cause more interest ? Questions and more questions. I don't know how it'll all play out, but I do know a few things. I know I'll enjoy these few months. And I know I'll continue to spread the good word to those that need it.(everyone)If I think of anything else......

my profiles said I was still 22 that changed in January! so somehow smurging Firefly, Black Books, Stargate Atlantis magazine articles and FPC and FA2 exams with impending divorce (not mine) serious pet parasite issues and new potential roomies oh its a crazy world but my ID hasn't had this much fun since - well this morning, hero of canton, grinning like an idiot on the bus and singing the theme to my cat (she normally hates my singing) she blinked acceptably - getting excited cos its halloween soon! minus point losing dad tho. must make the most of this now, stupid exams that I'm going to fail anyway are getting in the way! oh bleh.

Ok, so I just watched Ariel last night and my overwhelming dislike for Jayne has returned. I can't help it but the 'hero of canton' can be a right git at times. I mean sure he's funny but some part of me just wishes that Mal had had Jayne sucked off the ship and into space. Anywho, I'm off to watch more firefly.

MANTICHORUS

As most who are interested will have heard, there are two games based around FFVII coming out, as well as the movie. The movie, [i]Advent Children[/i], set two years after the end of the game, has been previewed at Venice, and should (hopefully) be out by this time next year. The first game, [i]Before Crisis[/i] is a prequel starring the Turks. So far, it has only been announced for mobile phones. The second game, [i]Dirge of Cerberus[/i] has you playing as Vincent. It is supposedly set after [i]Advent Children[/i]. Now; is this a good thing? Ever since it's release, FFVII has been considered one of the best of the Final Fantasy series. In fact, most people were expecting bits out of FFVII in the original FF movie, [i]The Spirits Within[/i]. The problem with any sequel or prequel is will it detract from the original? If so, then obviously it's best not to release it. To be honest, I'm hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst... Keep on flyin'. -Mantichorus.

Hail the Autmnal Equinox! Today is my 5th wedding anniversary! Yippee! Can I brag about my husband? Talk about the nicest most level headed guy. He is definitely keeper quality, and he's mine. I count myself lucky and hope that any soon to be married Browncoats are as happy as I am! If I could give any advice, I guess I'd say this. - Don't sweat the small stuff. If your sweetie hogs the remote or won't get off the computer, so what. Everybody has annoying habits, it's a fact. If you've married someone, don't think that you can change those little nuances, because thats what makes them the wonderful person you chose to be with. - Little tiffs are a waste of energy. If something is upsetting step back for a few minutes and think about what you want to say. Never lace it with not nice names and past "you did this's ". Try not to raise your voice. ( Verbal abuse is just as bad as physical, and shouldn't be part of anyone's life.) - There are just somethings that really don't warrant a comment; roll your eyes if it will make you feel better. If your sweetie has weird or "difficult" relatives, don't make comments about them. See previous comment. Curious? The weirdness is all on my side. Hubby is so kind as to smile and say nothing. - Love everyday you have with this person, stuff happens that you can never predict. I almost bit it once, and it really changed my perspective. ( Shoot, just knowing my hubby changed it as well.) You don't have to have a big " oh, how I love my sweetie" moment everyday... well you can if you want. Just give it a second when you wake up and think... here I am and things are good with this person... YEA! - This part may be more for the guys. Children. I know some fellas may hesitate and say "NOOoooo!" and avoid the topic all together. Just think, more Browncoats. No really, babies/kids aside from being cute, are really pretty cool, fun, and more entertaining than primetime TV. So your life will revolve around them for at least 18 more years( more like 30). It will be worth it. Just wait til they share a soggy Cheeri-O out of their drooly mouth with you. :D Yummy! Tonight we will partake of tasty enchiladas and sopapillas at El Chico. :D It's the little things that are fun, y'know.
