Squeeeee!!!! I'm 3/4 of the way to my first Dragon Con. I have DC tickets (bought those a couple of weeks ago), hotel reservations about a block from the Con and now I have plane tickets. Yes, I really committed myself to going along with my daughter. I've been in a tizzy about the rising price of air fares because I couldn't have any fun if I had to drive 8 hours each way. Well, a friend who travels a lot guided me to a discount air fare site and I got 2 tickets from Raleigh to Atlanta for about half of what the airline sites were listing. YIPEEEEE!!!! Hope to see a lot of you guys there Labor Day weekend.

just be aware this could end in a rant,the ol timers keep goin on that this aint the same site as when it started,the new comers keep posting and i ,i is lost for the moment.I've noticed alot of members have gone silent for awhile,been known to do it myself from time to time.

I'm going to NYC next summer... glee! I don't like chocolate. It has absolutely no appeal to me. I saw Fightclub a few days back. I thought it was great! Who's with me? [i]I am Jack's raising right hand.[/i] :biggrin: If were to die and reincarnate, I'd like to be a snowflake. Or a pair of socks. A very chirpy pair of socks. Can we reincarnate as inanimate objects? I don't drink. Ever. Is there such thing as an inanimate object? The last Nine Inch Nails record is terrific. Sometimes I have these bouts of insurmountable numbness that seem so out of character for me... It's quite bewildering, really. Did I mention the last Nine Inch Nails record is terrific? I was doing some excavating in my room earlier today, and stumbled upon a pirate eye-patch. Depth is a fabrication of the mind. The habs won yesterday. 'Beat Boston 4-2. Kovalev made some pretty plays... :smile: It's crazy how the simplest things can become mind-expanding if you let them be. I think I need to move some place away. I've been in this city so long I don't even see it anymore. That's it folks, tune in next week for more.
