OK..so my roommate's son is ten years old. He came home from school yesterday and told me he had the theme song from Firefly stuck in his head all day. And true to his word, I heard him playing in his room, singing "Take my love, take my land..." It was so cute. And if that wasn't enough, we were watching the bdm tonight and as the cute and awkward little Mal and Inara 'sundries' moment was over, I heard him say to himself, "You sooo looked through her stuff." Tell me that's not astute for a ten year old. Course it could just be that I'm pleased to be a positive influence..lol. I just couldn't not share.

INFAMOUSX

Oh, how I wish there was or will be a video game. I know others have thought the same, and assume still others must think it would be blasphemy. I specifically would like to see an MMORPG, or Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game for the uninitiated. Join a crew and fly with 'em. Pilot, Engineer, Doctor, or my personal favorite, Public Relations like Jayne. Do things your way, be they honorable or dis, or simply survive. Maybe even become a captain yourself someday, if so inclined. Run into THE crew once in a great while, hopefully on their good side. Done right, it'd be one hell of a ride, and another great way of continuing the 'verse and it's stories for years to come.

I finally watched The Dive From Clausien's Pier today. I Tivo-ed it about a month ago, and today I finally had the chance to watch it. All I have to say is, oh Sean. Sean Sean Sean Sean Sean. Did I mention Sean? And Sean! Okay I'm done, :biggrin: Nothing ends a week like two hours of Sean Maher. Except maybe 3 hours of Sean Maher...it may be time for yet another all night Firefly marathon :evil:

I should not have drunk so much last night. :vomit: My head hurts a lot :crap: ... still found time to log on here today... admittedly only to check if anyone's posted some more Inara/Mal fanfic. I have tried writting fanfic but I just can't compete. Oh well. Think I might go and see Underworld 2 tonight :blast:

Evans got that old music device workin.A SONY CD Player made back in 1999...He had ta make some kinda coverter to get the power to work in it...I dont know to much about all that.Thats what he gets payed ta do.So I leave that stuff to him. The Cooks mad at me cause I been taken potshots at it.She says I shouldnt do that cause it aint done nuthin to us...True I says but it aint answered no calls either...Shes givin me some grief about bein more nice bout stuff and I aint gotta shoot at everythin that flys past...and I guess shes sorta right...but if she would just sit in the Gunners seat an squeeze off a few rounds I think she'll grow ta like it...I mean come on she growed ta like me,so I figure I aint all that bad...Right? Everybodys dancin and singin to the music thats on these CD things...I Gotta admit I kinda like somma this music, spiecaly the ones called "Merle Haggard's Greatest Hits" and "Waylon and Willy's WWII" ... That Willy Nelson singer sure got it right with the song "If you could touch her at all" The Cook likes some of the other stuff to.She says that she likes what I like to...so there ya are see I aint so bad after all. That boat back there is really aggitatin me and the crew...But for peace's sake I'll hold off doin anything...but I just dont like someone lookin over my shoulder...I think I gonna start some target practicin inna few minutes.

After seeing some of the deckplan work posted on this site, I decided to use them in trying to draw a cutaway view of the ship that would fit as closely as possible with the sets seen on the show and film. Posted a sketch today and asked for creative input. Let's see how it goes.
