Top 5 things you should not do while working: 1. Attempt to build a fort out of post-it notes. 2. When someone knocks down above fort, tell them “Ye may have won this round knave, but cursed be ye for eternity.” 3. Answer someone’s question with a question. 4. Give those who pass by the “evil eye” then pretend to write something down in a notebook while laughing mischievously. 5. Play air guitar for one straight hour. Just got introduced to the world of Firefly on October 6th. Completely Addicted now. Bought the DVD's, saw the movie, bought the role playing game, have 2 of the 3 comics and ordered the third (which is of course the first in the series so I can't read it yet), orderd the soundtracks for both Serenity and Firefly.. Best gorram show ever!

Alright, anyone who knows RPG knows all about Suppliments. Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not holding my breath for any Serenity RPG Suppliments. I figure the Core book is all they're gonna put out and we likely won't be seeing anything other than that one. So in lue of any OFFICIAL suppliments, I wanna go to the Experts of this universe: I'm going to the Browncoats. What am I asking? Well, expect a few more threads along these lines. This one however is a request for Jobs. What kinda gigs are a crew of Space Pirates gonna get thier hands on? This isn't just for the crew of Serenity folks. Hell, a few I've thought up involve jobs that've come about as a result of the things Serenity did. So, to get the ball rolling, here's a few of my own Job ideas: ================================================ TITLE Bad Luck Break Out CODE 2AGE12 WRITTEN BY Joey Friloux LOGLINE The crew get an emergency wave offering 10,000 plat to anyone who can rescue Hwai Tong, an infamous crime lord who calls Persephone home. Unfortunately, he's on his way to a new home; a penal moon where he is to be incarcerated for the remainder of his years. Will the crew be able to intercept the Aliance prison ship or will they try to prevent others from doing a job more immoral than what they are capable of? ================================================= TITLE Late Fees CODE 2AGE13 WRITTEN BY Joey Friloux LOGLINE A job on Ariel goes bad and the two security bots that the Captain rented for extra protection are destroyed. Blue Sun's Rent-a-Bot office is less than pleased and collects the collatoral for the bots; the crew's ship. ================================================= TITLE The Answer to Life, the Universe, Everything... CODE 2AGE14 WRITTEN BY Joey Friloux LOGLINE The crew get a job salvaging the multiple wreckages let over after a massive battle between the Aliance and the Reavers. They aren't the only ones interested in the salvage though; the Aliance has it's own cleaning crew to do the job, the Reavers are likely still about, and it seems every salvage crew worth it's salt is interested in the wreckage. Why? Because "you can't stop the signal", and the remains of Mr. Universe's computers are supposedly somewhere in the mess. ================================================

The mother-in-law and brother-in-law came over for dinner last night, and, to forego any talk and such, we put on Firefly's pilot episode (Serenity) for them... The mother-in-law watches a lot of sci-fi, but is also kinda hung up on all that religosity and such... she fell asleep, which might'a been a result of bein' tired, or mayhaps a defence mechanism for escapin' havin' to comment on all the whorin' talk, and killin' and such... The brother-in-law seemed to get a kick out of it, though he was looking at a copy of Heros Unlimited through most of it, though it did catch his attention, so work will continue on getting him hooked. I also loaned a copy of Firefly to a friend at work, who I think will enjoy it... So, spreading the 'verse to friends and family as fast as I can! Plus, I had the added bonus of gettin' to watch the pilot again, and pick up things I missed, or didn't know to take note of, the first time through! Shiny!
