Ok,here's the new lowdown. I recovered about 160 pics yesterday ( including my file of saved Mike Phillips images) and now have them copied to cd and most uploaded to my bucket. The laptop was extremely slow all day, had a 2" grey bar at the bottom of my browser, and if I closed Firefox to search my C drive, I had to restart to get firefox back up. Last nite I re-downloaded firefox, upon restarting it got rid of the grey bar and now there is no need for fasterfox! I now see red underlines for misspelled words, even here, how cool is that! Also last night I found a file with all of my pic files listed- lost and new. When I try to open with Windows pix viewer, it says no preview available. Now each folder has a listing for last activity and how big the file is. Anybody know why it would say file size if there was nothing there? I found, but haven't downloaded yet, a digital recovery program called Recuva. It's by the same people that make Crap Cleaner, which I love. Does anybody have any experience with it? Thanks again for all the shiny browncoat support!

I'm usually not a "worst day ever" kind of rant person. But, between Veronica Mars being cancelled, the Cubs giving up five runs in the bottom of the ninth against the Mets, and the Bulls being eliminated - I have to say what the hell. There it is. Anyway, does anybody have any advice for becoming an excellent networker? I just finished school. My teaching certificate is in the mail, so I'm looking for jobs while trying not to lose my mind or my creative interest in music. I don't want to be a robot, or a prison warden when I get my first teaching job.

Yesterday (May 17th) was Norway's constitution day/national day... cant think of the English word. It was parades drunken high school seniors, national dresses and carnival (the thing with carousels and tickets and prizes) I'm not really all in to this celebration but me and my friend decided to visit the carnival and had a lovely time... It helps to bring out the inner child sometimes.. The constitution is something to celebrate I suppose, but its all the marching bands and flags and the fuss I dont really care for. Norwegians is kind of crazy bout this day
