I was staring in the mirror, and my face was there. I sprayed Windex and wiped it away. For several minutes, I scrubbed the shiny glass and rubbed away skin and tissue and bone. At last, I could see my brain. It was so awesome. Big and purple and bloody, it quivered like a naked bride. "Don't be afraid," I said. "Firefly will come back, you just wait and see."
