Classes in Logic

Well, let me start by saying the finger is feeling much better. Sorry for the freakout the other day. It's still a little tender, but it didn't end up looking as bad as I expected it would. Now here's an observation from a high school teacher about the need for simple logic classes in school. I gave an assignment for students to observe a location for five days straight at about the same time everyday in hopes they'd start noticing patterns in human behavior and so forth. As we're coming up to the due date, a couple students (without any hesitation) actually ask me point-blank if they can make up some of the information in their observation logs. Okay, now wouldn't it stand to reason that now that you've asked me, even if I say no, that I will be suspect of your work? Kids just don't remember the lessons we learned...don't ask, just do it, and with any luck the teacher won't notice! Heck, I had a paper in 11th grade history that required 10 sources. I made up 5 of them and the teacher never called me on it. Kids, be smart...work the problem out on your own instead of asking the teacher if you can cut corners on your project! *sigh* -Taylor

it was horrible!

I had nightmares last night. I couldn't shake them. I got out of bed this morning thankful to be free of them. It was Serenity. Our beloved BDM. It was openig day and I was excited. Each of the dreams had the same set up, I'm at the movie theater, so are lot sof people, and Serenity is making a big show of it. In the first one, the audience was led to the wrong screen and forced to watch Battlefield Earth. The next, had a mad gunman shooting all the popcorn buckets and spraying pop all over the theater. The third one was bizarr to say the least. The bathrooms had been moved into the Serenity theater. People began filing in and urinating on the seats--while we were enjoying the film. The last, was the most disturbing, I was there and I though it was finally going to be okay. I was watching the movie when I notice I was bleeding. I had a stomach wound. No one would help, because all the Browncoats had disappeared to be replaced by folks from my school days. They began to taunt me. Matt LeBlanc locked the doors and wouldn't let me leave. Since they wouldn't let me seek medical help, I hoped to be able to watch the rest of the movie. Alas! I passed out from blood loss with fifteen minutes to go.
