How many times can you listen to the Ballad of Serenity in a constant loop? I think I'm working on over an hour now. . . . . I think I'm gonna be dreaming to this song. . . . Yet I can't shut it off. My friends and I are all plannin' our Browncoat costumes for this Halloween. We've already got a Wash and a Jayne, with another friend being either Kaylee or Zoe and me being either Kaylee or Inara. I need to think of a costume I could pull together for Inara, though. Hmmmmm. . . . Maybe I could go thrift store shopping. . . . see if there are any dresses I could alter to get an Inara look. . . . possibly. I'll have to go study my DVDs for ideas. But for now, I am off to go write. I have a book re-write that I need to finish soon, or it will drive me and my awaiting readers nuts! Sings: "Have No Place I Can Be Since I Found Serenity!" All very much introductory stuff about the movie and characters, till the very last line , about the crew.....[b]Hunted by vastly different enemies, they begin to discover that the greatest danger to them may be on board "Serenity" herself.[/b] This clearly is a comment about River, isn't it ? Why would River be a danger to the crew? Beyond making them all fugitives, is River capable of hurting any of them? (Besies Jayne, I mean.) CAN she really kill anyone w/her brain? It would seem so. I get a small twinge of 'ut oh .. cheese factor ' here when my mind starts to wander on about these things..then I remember what Jewel said at DragonCon ... " Trust Joss. He KNOWS what he's doing. " Anyway, it seems that this is some how related to the meeting the crew had in OiS. Is River MORE crazy in the movie ? Does she make progress, then something happens to make her revert to CRAZY River? Man, I'm asking too many questions here. :crap: But what if it's NOT about River? Could it be some one else ? Book, perhaps? Or maybe Jubal Early is stowed away somewhere ? What if it's Inara ? Ahhh! Killer Companions from outter space!! I'll just have to wait...grrr.

a judge of character? I watched 'the message' earlier tonight. I'm watching 'Jaynestown' now. I asked a family member to watch the show earlier tonight. I wanted them to "weigh in on what they saw on the show". I didn't specify any episode to watch. I just wanted an opinion. So....can we judge someone by there opinion of firefly? does it say something about their character? Because I like good discussion......so please let me know what you think!
