Ok, its offical Firefly is everywhere! I just got the BESTEST card ever from my momma. It said: Pick a star Make a wish Who needs candles When you've got the sky... and she doesn't even know about my FF obsession. Well, ok [i]maybe[i] I mentioned it once or twice. All right, so I am easily impressed

Once more into the darkness

Some time ago I stopped coming to this site, stopped watching my DVD's and did everything to put this Verse from my mind. I got tired of waiting for news, tired of the endless back and forth of opinions over the smallest detail of a scrap of information. My heart grew weary because I missed this show, this world, this grand and wonderful idea. Then something happened a few weeks ago. I went and saw Dodgeball. And on the screen big as life is a long-haired, pirate that looked like Wash. And latter on, towards the end, there is a close up of Alan, looking very clean cut, and I saw Wash. I realized that the movie will make our heroes bigger than we could ever imagine them to be. The screen will brighten with the glow of our ship and lighten our hearts. The theaters will be filled with men and women who will cheer for joy and cry as well. I went home that night and put in a DVD and watched Shindig. I felt the same tingle of joy I felt the first time I watched this show. I felt happy, light in my step and hopefull, for a little while. And then later, I came here, to check the news, and it seems everyone is just waiting. Eager, and edgy. I just wanted to say to everyone keep your chins up. Whatever happens, however it happens, this show, this movie, these men and women who are making this creation come to life, will do it right. They will put heart, and love, and care into making this something we will always cheerish. They will make it special for us all and I'm sure we will make it special for them. Just a few words for the darkest nights to come in the wait for the glow of Serenity!

I got a new computer today. Yesterday my old, '99 piece of crap randomly stalled out every five minutes so I had to wait until it caught up to keep typing. My clock was even slow, so I had to keep rebooting every couple of hours to keep the thing alive. Now I'm typing on my new computer. This is nice. Funny, how it only takes five years for something to be so outdated, and also ginormous. My new computer is so much smaller.
