had my last day of work today. well, night really. things went pretty smoothely for a saturday. until the end. then all hell broke loose. this hell was in the form of tram faults. did you all know i operate a tram/gondola? well yeh, it kept faulting at the same time some rather foul weather was headed our way. I should have run the tram fast to get them down, but the faults made it stuck in slow. it was a bit frustrating and even slightly unnerving. right after I got the tram unloaded the storm hit. it was really pissing down. i was driving about 40 mph on the freeway cos i coulnt see well. anyhow, it was my last day and it was a bang. My last day because i'm headed back to university. im very very happy to be moving back. living with parents as not-so-much a teen anymore is overrated. however, this summer i really felt usefull and needed and loved at work. rare. my under-manager gave me a hug. it was kinda odd. she's real cool. anyhow. school awaits me and high-speed net and parentlessness. Currently learning Lightwave 3D 8 in order to produce models and vfx similar to those seen in Firefly, Serenity and other sci-fi shows. It's a slow process, but I hope to one day produce something that will live on, the way Firefly always will.

I'm back, and working on a new installment of "How I Soar." I didn't think the day would come, truth be told, but I love the 'Verse that Joss made too much to have left it behind for long. So. Dragon*Con in less than three weeks - is there gonna be a meet-up? Dudes, there has to be a meet-up, yo.

It's funny actually, when Firefly first aired I was like, "hey that's cool". However, I never saw another episode after that. Then my friend said I had to watch this show he had on DVd, so i watched it and well, I now own the movie and the series myself. I have no clue at to why this show was taken off, it was brilliant. Awesome cast, script and well, everything. I am a new fan, i guess it really shows, I signed up for this didn't I. Browncoats forever.
