I have been looking everywhere for this great Jayne fic I once read where he picks up his old copy of the Tao te Ching. If anyone reads this and knows what I'm talking about, please send me news. Got a shiny new 'puter last week. I'm trying to personalize it with Firefly stuff. I've looked everywhere for sound bites from the show I can download. None found yet. I did get the first volume of the Firefly Companion book for my birthday.

So, I'm now all set up and ready to work. I just have to decide on what to do. I have few ideas, as usual. I just need to canvas a few opinions on what to write first. 1. A sequel to 'Zen', with some more convoluted relationship stuff in the M/R/I triangle? or 2. A good old-fashioned action piece, involving heists and space pirates? Of course, I could combine elements of 1 & 2, and maybe just write a quick stand-alone action fic for the time being... At some point, Jayne will visit Londinium, but that will be pretty much a purely Jayne and Ilargia story. I just have this image in my head of Londinium, a sort of melange of Pugin, Foster and Lang, with that 'Fifth Element'/'Blade Runner' vibe at street level, and Gibson-style arcologies rising above. Such a contrast to the dusty frontier worlds. It is, however, saner than some of the other things in there. That storyline will be a blast to write. Anyhow, back to work.

I just wanna start by saying thank you to everyone who responded to my last blog. You were all right, I really need to get over him, and I think that you were the push I needed to make the right decision and move on. Thank you. Anyway, I have moved on now, and I'm pretty sure that there are no more lingering feelings, or anything, I am determined to keep this relationship firmly in the friend zone now, whether or not he eventually comes to his senses and decides he wants me back. This is a bonus cos less worrying about him = more time to concentrate on my gcses, which are now looming closer on the horizon than ever and getting scarier by the minute. And who knows, perhaps I'll meet my perfect guy in greece this summer, or maybe when I go to college in september. Wish me luck! :biggrin:
