Got a whole boatload of requests asking to buy my art.. and while I'm flattered, I don't know if I can..leagly anyway..without getting into a whole copyright infringement thing. I suppose I could trade or something..Or give them away as gifts...also alot of people would be surprised at how fragile the chalk thingys are..in fact the first ones I did are already starting to loose the whitness..prints I could probably do since I still have the original mega scans.. (these things are huge). The conte' stuff is holding up which isn't surprising since thats a wax product..Let me know what you guy's think...

I just had to express my excitement about this because it's 11:30 and there is no one else who understands around... Today, I had another friend watch Firefly...which she said she liked...but we'll see. Anyway, after the outtakes, cause they are HiGh-larious. Well, my dad called and asked me what my shirt size was. Here is where you gotta understand my dad: he doesn't really normally do the whole buying clothes thing, especially for me. Somewhere in the whole conversation he said something about being in Hot Topic.(he likes to read the shirts.) In my head, Hot Topic clicked with Serenity, cause he knows how much I [i]love[/i] Firefly/Serenity. So I told him my shirt size, he told me he'd have my brother bring it back, and then we hung up. Here's the trouble: I don't see my brother until Monday at school...ack. And that's my story, and my excitement. And since Hot Topic is the only store, that ain't online, selling Serenity stuff, I'm kinda thinkin' it's that. If it is what I hope it is, you'll know.

Does any one every wonder why there is never any shadow from the front/nose section of the ship when the crew walk out of the cargo doors/ramp? I always wondered that. Sometimes the angle of the sun seems like it wouldn't cast a shadow anyway. Who cares, right? Its just one of those things I noticed. Or, in Ariel when Jayne, River, and Simon are being transferred by Alliance guards......Jayne has his hands cuffed behind his body at the start of a fight; then, in the middle of the fight, his hands are suddenly cuffed to the front of his body. Jayne was smart to use trick photography in his fighting. These things don't make me love the show any less. Maybe more, I suppose. I'm always looking for those little things that keep the show itself fresh and interesting to me. I've gone back to "Objects in Space" at least nine or ten times to watch that one over and over again. That's got to be my favorite episode right now. Before, it was "Out of Gas." I'm a sucker for non-linear. O.ofG. is the "string theory" episode as far as i'm concerned. Didn't Minear say there were three concurrent narratives? Tearing paper out of Symbols. vE:blush:

So, in listening to the fireflytalk podcast, I thought it would be interesting experiment to listen to the episodes. Some scenes I've seen so many times I can tell you how the person's head is positioned from one moment to the next...so listening to them actually gave me a new appreciation for FF. I 'felt' them like I did the first time I watched them. In particular, the end of Safe. Hearing the emotion in the voices gave it another depth for me. Sometimes, I think we are too distracted by visuals...don't get me wrong I love my visuals, but it was really cool and interesting to do this.

Thanks for all the input everyone..It seems the general consensus is ............ok. I'm leaning toward the limited signed print route....that guarantees that what you all see is what you get..I was shocked at the condition of some of the earlier chalk for white drawings, as someone whose worked exclusive in pen and ink I don't usually have to worry about longevity of the art I'm doing.. (on the River and Simon one the white is almost completely worn off) So let me do some thinking on it and I'll give you guy's the heads up...thanks again...

People really are sick! Always talking about River in a bad way. :( Very upsetting. Gorammit, I wish they would show her some respect! No, this is not a very literate entry; but guess what? I'm not in the mood now. :(
