HOT RUNNING WATER!!!!!!!! I have had a real shower for the first time in a month!! Bucket bathing sucks. I may have to leave my husband for the guys who put that boiler buddy in. Nah. But I'd have given them cookies if I'd had any. Now to deal with the nonfunctional oven. We're taking son to the zoo today! It's not as warm as it was yesterday but it'll do. He is a happy boy today. We managed to haul his actual bed down from the other house yesterday. He missed his bed.

Just wanted to give a hearty "thank you" to Valerie and Allison for throwing a wonderful Shindig yesterday in Gainesville. My extremely better, prettier, and smarter half and I had a great time. After spending the past few days thinking that I had finally managed to screw my connection up all the way I've obviously made it back here, which is good. Just got back from a night over at my parent's. Well - one part of them really. My mom and her new husband. As you might guess my real parents livei n divorce. The new guy is really nice though, so I'm all happy for her. Sometimes things just don't work out. Waiting eagerly for my done the impossible soundtrack to get here. 'Cause I kind of liked it. Also a friend of mine has made a couple of vids that she put up on youtube. Tried cheering me up, which is real great of her. Kudos for that. Boy... I missed this place. *blinks*
