Well, we got everyone settled from the big fire but it's been eating up all my time...We started ripping out all the water damaged sheetrock and insulation..what a mold ridden sodden mess. ugh. Haven't had much time to anything but catch a few winks here and there...we're looking at six to seven months for rebuilding...but once the contractors get started, it should calm down a bit for my part... The Buffy comic/novel is coming along nicely (When I've had a chance to work on it) I'm on page 21..the flashbck rape sequence...Thanks to Maln for some some ideas on how to handle it without being gross or in poor taste... So, that's about it for this time...

I've gotta admitt it, I'm almost entirely new to the 'verse. It's a shame, but at least I've seen the light now... I had a friend who kept bugging me about watching Firefly, but we never got round to it. So one day we got together a group of people and sat down to check this show out. Truth is we saw almost all of the series in one sitting. We all love it! There were at least ten of us, that makes 10 new browncoats... If we keep converting people like that, some TV-company will eventually see that this will be quite the hit.. Don't ya think? Besides, whatever Joss touches turns Golden, Gold = money.. Anyone else out there from Europe? I dont think either Firefly nor Serenity has been shown on TV here.. Or, maybe in Europe somewhere, but not in Norway. So in order for people to discover Firefly we have to be intriduced to the series by someone.. Well, now I'm gonna go spend time with Real Life.. Ta.

Yep, folks, thats it for me. I am, officialy, 16 tomorrow. As in 9/11. It sucks. I feel kinda bad, y'know? Feeling happy on 9/11. WHat a GREAT day to be born on, whatwith the two-thousand-ish deaths and the start of some three or so wars. And, then... Steve Irwin died!!! Damn... we'll all miss ya, Steveo. See you on the other side, mate. Just, well... yeah, thats it... kinda. Like I said, being born on 9/11 sucks a lot. Yeah. -Danny

I know - from searching google - that Pullo (aka Ray Stevenson in HBO's "ROME") has been compared to Jayne by a lot of people. I've only just started watching the series on DVD (thank you, Netflix) and so I've only just been introduced to the startling similarities between the centurion character and everyone's favorite mercenary. But, wow, they are so, so much alike. I LOVE IT. There is a total Mal/Jayne dynamic with Vorenus/Pullo. It's sort of like having more FIREFLY... with togas.

It's kinda like a hope thing. If hope could make it happen for us, if it could pull a sequal or a trilogy out for us, then it would have already happened. We'd have that, heck, we'd have a second season, and a third. But the fact remains that we're not there yet, and we have a lot of work to do, yet. Miles to go before we sleep and all that. Anyway, this is only my thoughts about the subject. So, the only thing we can do is hold the line, and continue to hold until our captain gets back. We cannot falter, we cannot slip, we cannot forget our joy, and our love, life will get in the way, things will try to take her place, but like the song says, they can't take the sky from us. And we will hold, just like our Captain told us to. We will hold until he gets back. And that's something.
