Yes! The Prodigal TenthCrewMember returns! But I haven't joined Niska's book club, so uhhh...here I am, the real me, lookin' for that crappy town where I'm a hero, thinkin' I'll rise again, so hang on travelers, I think I've gone over quote-a here... Got all sorts of shiny goodness lined up in my whimsical brainpan. Who knows...I might even dust off Caption Tightpants... -TCM-

Happy New Year!

Happy 2009 everybody! Now that that's over with... Odd thought of the day: I was looking up Chinese symbols for some River-centric fiction I'm working on, and I now wonder if the show was actually more well researched than I thought. It's true that apples are a great prop on-set because they last forever, shine up real good, and don't break easily, but I thought this symbol too good to miss. Here's why--according to one symbolism site: "A basket of apples signifies peace and harmony" That's why Zoe and the Cap'n always cut theirs, specially when they're from the Feds--makes sure there's remaining peace and quiet afterwards. Grenades will ruin your day. Oh, the irony! Anybody find any unintentional little tidbits about the show like that in 2008(or earlier :))?
