I'm one of those people that bought the DVDs without having heard of the show... and being a little embarassed for Joss to have this going on and me not know about it, but for this I blame that FOXy fellow.

I'm also the kid that watched season one of Buffy on that weird station that no one had heard of even though I wasn't allowed to and had to change the channel whenever mom came into the room - though by the time season two came around I openly watched it and was even known to purchase an expensive VHS set or two.
