Biology major, Latin and Chemistry minors. I've also played the piano for about 14 years.
I've been a fan of Firefly since I saw the first episode on Fox. When Crow got kicked through that engine at the the end of "Train Job," I can remember thinking "Holy shit, they did not just do that," followed quickly by "Man, I have to keep watching this show." It was a sort of Friday night tradition in my dorm, on those Fridays when it wasn't pre-empted, and I was really sad when it was cancelled.
Got the DVD box set when it first came out, and this year I've been working on recruiting my friends and hallmates who hadn't seen the show to the Browncoat cause.
Needless to say, very excited for Serenity in September.
