Just a thought. Firefly is partly in Mandarin. How about a reboot (even a mere meme) partly in English? For an Asian market ... Hope I'm not interrupting any down home rednecks at the tamade baijiu shindig in the outer zone ...
For what its worth, all potentials are open. New Zealand, for example, has just signed a far reaching television production deal with China (google it!!!) and as New Zealand is still yet one of the Indepedendents (though deeply beholden to the Alliance) it kind of makes sense ... but you're the expert, you can tell me, why don't ya?
