Whoo! Dune -and- Children of Dune were on consecutively on SciFi yesterday. 12 hours of Dune lovin'. While the miniseri (or is it miniseries'...who knows) can't hold a candle to reading the books, they're still awesome. I have to wonder if they're planning on making God Emperor of Dune a miniseries too. But honestly, who knows what SciFi is thinking. And how they would ever pull off the effects needed to portray Leto is beyond me. Well, I just thought I would share my Dune experience for the weekend. Enjoy your week!

PS - Did anyone else notice that the Matrix Revolutions totally stole that whole thing with Neo being blind but still able to see from Dune? I wouldn't care normally but the Matrix just went downhill. So I'm forced to ask myself if the what's-their-name brothers are worthy of Frank Herbert's genius.

PPS - I'm sorry if I offended any Matrix fans out there. Really...no angry postings please.

Okay, so, I'm really bad at writing bios but here's my best shot. I'm a 17-year-old girl from Oro Valley, AZ. Naturally the amount of excitement in my life is pretty minimal. My friends and I just make it up as we go along you could say. I discovered Firefly over Christmas break (2003) when I went to my aunt's house and she had just gotten the DVD collection...it was schweet and I am forever grateful. What else? Oh! Right. All About Me. My friends say that I'm "geeky but it's hot." I've been called mean but I'm pretty sure that some people just can't handle my sense of humor...sarcasm is wasted on most.
