SAVE JOSS WHEDON!

Sunday, December 16, 2007 4:09:02 AM

My dad and I sat down and thought about it. Why does Joss keep working for Fox? I mean honestly they killed what was one of the most masterfully written shows. The slaying of Firefly is equatable with the slaying of art itself.

So why does Joss work for the Empire that slayed his golden child? Well we figured it out.Fox can't let Whedon go. He is too brilliant. If they allow him to work for another network they will be overwhelmed by their competition. Not even the likes of the Simpson's or Family Guy could save them if Joss worked elsewhere. So, Fox has something on Mr. Whedon. Blackmail perhaps? Maybe they control every aspect of his life... who knows but Fox has got something that is controlling the brilliant Mr.Whedon.

But why would they shoot down a show that was so wonderful, so majestic, so magnificent? Well if they let such a popular show air, Whedon might gather such a following that he could free himself from their evil clutches.

I'm telling you, there is somethign maniacle about Fox. So Fox, beware, because when I make my way into coporate America I am digging up the dirt on your scummy asses. You'll regret the cancellation of Firefly.

Biography
I remember the first time I saw Buffy. I looked at it and I went this is refreshingly good. Well a few years later there was the evil preacher guy playing the captain of a starship. I said "Hey I know him," and then I said "Hey Joss Whedon wrote it!!" And then I said "Dad! We have to go see this movie." Well a few weeks later I was chilling in my living room and cruising the channels when all of the sudden this show catches my eye on T.V. There is that evil preacher guy wearing a brown coat, sitting in a space ship herding .... cattle? At this point I am like... alright I have got to sit down and watch this. Little did I know that what I was stepping into was one of the most beautifully created, pleaseantly written, masterpiece of all time. I watched the marathon until late into the night and finally had to tuck in because school was the next day. But I remember thinking, wow that show is amazing... I wonder how many seasons there are.

Well I went to see the movie I ran out and bought the DVD's and then learned the heart wrenching truth. There was no second season. I think that was probably one of the worst feelings of my life. I had no clue that while there was a war being fought over in another country there was one being fought on our own soil to keep one of the most brilliant shows alive.

So to my fellow browncoats, I am sorry I stumbled into the fight so late. But I'm here now and I will take down the very president of Fox if I have to to get this show back up and running.
