Michigan Browncoats Serenity Screening

I'm a relatively recent fan. I rented Serenity on the recommendation of a friend ("Run, do not walk, and rent this movie," he said) and I jumped in with both feet after that. Even my son (age 14) is a fan. It's nice to have that in common, especially when we spout lines to each other and no one else knows what we're laughing about. Now I have a loaner boxed set of Firefly to spread the word. I'm sick of going to watch an episode and having that disk be out on loan to a friend!
I live in Michigan. I helped organize a local screening of Serenity to benefit Equality Now in June, 2006. Seeing the BDM on the big screen was most awesome. I have a son, a dog, 4 cats.
In any Firefly personality survey I take I always come up 100% Kaylee.
My dog (http://www.dogster.com/?281917) no longer has more Pup Pals on his Dogster page than I have friends on my My Space page (http://www.myspace.com/sarathelaundress)!
