Look foward to many posts with my fellow browncoats!!
history (as it relates to the BDS and BDM): introduced to Firefly last summer ('05) and waited patiently for movie. Well, tried to be patient! Was a fan and introduced a few others to the shiny show and BDM, but really didn't become obsessed until this year. I started watching the series again and realized how much I had missed it. I have now lost count of how many times i have seen both the movie and the series, although I have only recently started having the commentary on while watching. Then started lurking on the boards, but not joining. Then finally joined and lo and behold I am browncoat. Oh yeah, and i got serenity logo tatooed on my back!
interests: Well, duh, i AM a browncoat. So other than the obvious, I do like sci-fi like Aliens, Blade Runner. Wish they would make movies from Anne Mcaffrey's dragon series...Loved LOTR triology (my favorite of the bunch was the two towers). Have two lovely dogs that love nothin' better than a walk with me in the woods, where they get to interact with the wild critters (deer, porcupines(not so good))much to the critters chagrin! No S.O., just family and friends that fill my life (at the moment anyhoo).
Music - love music. Listen to wide range from u2 to Green Day to Lucinda Williams.
Other: Hope to one day write some fanfic as i have a gazillion FF related stories in my head. Some of it would have to be rated R, but not all!
In the meantime, i am gettin' shiny FF stuff to increase my recruiting successes and have worked some FF speak into my vocabulary, although no one has yet to question me on it....
