I am a 22 year old Pre-med student currently going to Iowa State University. I never heard of Firefly before the film. My friends went and said it was great, but I thought (to my everlasting shame) that it looked kind of dumb, like a cheap Star Wars knock-off. They loved it and dragged me to the theaters, and I instantly became a browncoat for life. I went out and bought the series and since have been emersing myself in anything Firefly and fighting for it's triumphant return.

Alliance Commander: Seems odd you'd name your ship after a battle you were on the wrong side of.
Mal: May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.
