I grew up in New-York and studied in England. In 1997, I created the TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer -- I wish... Sigh. I was actually born in Angoulême (a very dull French town, except for those 4 days in the year when there is the International Comic Book Festival of Angoulême -- Joss, please come and make your comics known in France!) and right now I'm studying English in Toulouse. To my parents' extreme delight, I would like to be a TV writer (which is not even considered as a proper job here) in the USA, and more precisely, I would like to be Joss Whedon. Try to explain that in a country where Buffy and Angel are considered as stupid shows by grown-ups due to a pathetic dubbing, and where no one (really NO ONE) has heard about Firefly, nor can ever get a chance to enjoy it cuz there are no gorram French subtitles on the R2 DVDs!! I guess what I'm trying to say is: being a Browncoat in France feels very lonely...
