Finnish twenty-something studying higher education in Scotland (International Relations & Social Anthropology if you really want to know), but going nowhere fast. Recently been living my dream by producing and directing close-to-zero-budget short films, and might possibly continue with that into further degrees or industries...

Too many genuine interests to manage my time around. Been a sci-fi addict since watching Star Wars IV-VI once a week as a little whippersnapper. I'm also a big Iain M. Banks fan. Not the usual 'jaded TV viewer' story here though, as I was able to find the silver lining in even the worst episodes of Star Trek / Wars etc. But the quick pang of geek-boy fandom that has struck since finding Firefly in 2005 has proved the series to be one for the ages.
